Recently, WordPress 4.3 was released to give WordPress users plenty of new things to enjoy. There are some very cool features and a few upgrades. If you have yet to upgrade, here are some of the things you are missing out on.
Default Stronger Password
Instead of choosing your own password for new users, you can now use the WordPress suggested password. They have made this feature better by giving you a much stronger password when you reset your password. This is a great security feature and offers something new every WordPress users can enjoy.

This is a great feature whenever you start a new site or add a user. The stronger passwords will help keep the hackers and attackers out.
Menus added to Customizer

The Widgets became a part of the Customizer with WordPress 3.9 and this new version has the menus added to it. This makes it easier to customize your menus. You can find them when you go to Appearance>>Customizer. The older way of customizing your menus is still available, as well.
Enhancements to the Visual Editor

In the newest version of WordPress, you can now enjoy some nice enhancements to the editor. WordPress makes it easy to use the visual editor and now you can easily use inline text shortcodes to automatically format text. This happens automatically without the need to reload the editor.
Comments on Pages off by Default
Before WordPress 4.3 comments for pages had to be turned off manually. Since this type of content is supposed to be static non-chronological content, contents are not really a good thing with pages. Now you won’t have to turn the comments off, but if you want them on pages, you will need to manually turn them on.
Other new features with WordPress 4.3 include:
- New Site Icon
- Better List Views
- Better Press This Tool
- Plenty of Under the Hood Upgrades
If you have yet to upgrade to WordPress 4.3, you are missing out on many great new features.
